Bangkok “Floating Market”

The Bangkok floating market started life as a trade market mainly selling fish but has since become a tourist attraction, selling food and souvenirs.

The journey to the market took us along canals lined with some very poor living accommodation.

It gets very congested at times, I am surprised there are not more accidents but everybody seems to accept it.

  1. Great pictures John, keep them coming, there seems to be a big contrast between the calm culture up in the mountains and the hectic floating market scenes, what about the noise in the two places? I totally agree about the snakes, I saw one in Kenya.....not good !!
